Jace Wesley Devries Merrell

BURLEY– Jace Wesley Devries Merrell, the seven-month-old son of Angus Ross Merrell and Amanda Delores Devries-Merrell, passed away at Primary Children’s Medical Center on Monday, March 21, 2016.

Jace was born into a loving family with a firm belief in God on Aug. 8, 2015. He loved playing games, especially peek-a-boo, and with his dad as airplane, flying around in his arms. Jace also loved singing and dancing with his mommy. He adored his siblings and together, they spent countless hours playing. His smile would melt anyone’s heart, his eyes captivated all, and his laugh was extremely contagious!

Jace is survived by his loving parents; his siblings, Kierra Doty of Burley, Braxton Merrell of Paul, and Kaia Merrell of Burley; and his grandparents, Howard and Carrie Merrell, and Ron and Gayle Pete.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wesley Devries; and a great-grandfather, Norman K. Woodhouse.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, where friends and family may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley.
