HEYBURN – Jean LaVonne Brower, 69, of Heyburn, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016, at her favorite place, her cabin on the Yankee Fork near Stanley.

She was born Dec. 14, 1946, in Powell, Wyoming, the daughter of Curtis Cahal and Lola Pauline Sand Robirds. When Jean was young, the family drew a homestead in Kasota, where Jean was raised. She attended school locally and graduated from Minico High School. She then worked at the J.R. Simplot Company for 37 years. Jean spent 18 years with her loving companion, Glenn Winkle, until he passed away in 1994.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and especially loved spending the summers at her cabin on the Yankee Fork, which was her little piece of heaven.

She is survived by her children, Michael Brower of Nampa, Dana (Curt) Bailey of Nampa, Cindy (Les) Anderson of Hazelton, Robert (Francine) Winkle of Boise, and Dustin Winkle of Lahaina, Hawaii; her mother, Lola Robirds; siblings, James (Karen) Robirds of Rupert, Debbie (Merlyn) Pfeifer of Heyburn, Sue (Butch) Pfeifer of Burley, Tom (Cookie) Robirds of Minidoka, and Annie Robirds of Heyburn; grandchildren, Victoria, Shantell, Chadra, Leslie, Heather, Kiel, Kimaree, Samantha, Aidan, and Katelyn; great-grandchildren, Taysia, Xolanny, Chasen, Parker, Kala, Taylynn, Laine, Jackson, Max, TJ, Harlie, Tameeka, Blyth, Nevaeh, Deysle, Lexi, Aubree, Rozlyn, and Gentree Jean; and great-great-granddaughter, Raziya; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, LaNell Brower, her father, Curtis Robirds; loving companion, Glenn Winkle; and great-granddaughter, Makennah Anderson.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 22, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley.
