BURLEY – Thomas G. Eddings, 62, of Burley, passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center, in Twin Falls, with his loving family at his side.

Tom was born March 30, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas, to Margaret Lucida Hayes and Alfred George Eddings. When Tom was young, the family moved from Kansas back to Idaho, and settled in Burley, where he graduated high school. He Married Karen Wilkinson on July 25, 1982, and together they raised a family of three children.

Early on in Tom’s working career he was employed at Burley Autoparts, but his true skill was carpentry and construction. He was very meticulous and excelled in building custom furniture, custom homes, and tile work.

He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being with his grandchildren.

Surviving Tom is his loving wife, Karen; his children, Sheldon (Lisa) Wilkinson of Burley, Shantel Wilkinson of Filer, and Brooke Wilkinson of Burley; brothers and sisters, Dale (Dottie) Jankes of Alton, Illinois, Robert (Kay) Eddings of Kimberly, Marilyn Snow of Kimberly, Shirley Clark of Burley, and Debbie (Dick) Magner of California; sisters-in-law, RaNae Eddings of Burley and Belinda Bettencourt of Salmon, Idaho; ten grandchildren, Kyler, Angel, Devin, Breanna, Lexie, Zack, Gage, Jericka, Deija, and Grayson; and one great-grandchild, Payton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Donald Eddings.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, with Terry Bell officiating.
