Ivan M. Andrew

PAUL - Ivan M. Andrew, an 82-year-old resident of Paul, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at the Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Rupert.

Ivan was born in Gravois Mills, Missouri, the son of Thomas Milton and Beulah Victoria Scarbrough Andrew. He attended school and completed his education in Paul. He was extremely athletic and during his high school years, lettered in football, baseball, and track. Ivan married the love of his life, Donna Jane Hall. Together, they raised four children, Dennis, Gary, Dan, and Karla.

He was a fieldman for Union Seed for more than 42 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially like hunting and fishing. However, most important to Ivan was his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and a wonderful grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Dennis Andrew and Dan (Julie) Andrew both of Rupert, and Karla (Dan) Corless of Paul; five grandchildren, Kody Andrew, Chris Andrew, Ben Andrew, Dylan Corless, and Kayla Corless; two great-grandchildren, Harper Makenna Andrew and Gavin Leith; siblings, Bertha Meyers, Jane (Bill) Mewes, and Janice (Max) Scott; brother-in-law, Orland Authenreith; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Andrew, Paz Andrew, and Wanda Andrew.

Ivan was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Andrew; brothers, Hubert Andrew, Paul Andrew, Vernon Andrew, and Charles Andrew; and sister, Violet Authenreith.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the Paul Cemetery.

A visitation will held on Friday, preceding the graveside service, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, where family and friends may call from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m.
