Mary Doreen Reed

TWIN FALLS – Mary Doreen Reed, age 53, of Twin Falls, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at her home.

Mary was born October 23, 1963, in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of John Edward Cronin and Margaret Doreen Roberts Cronin. She graduated from American Falls High School and then attended classes at CSI. She married Steven Eric Reed, April 19, 1997, in Burley, Idaho, which union was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 19, 2000.

Mary was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she served in many capacities and enjoyed family history work. She was employed in various positions throughout her life, including school bus driver, title and real estate clerk, and machine embroiderer. She was skilled at embroidery and crochet.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Cheryl Allen of Paul, Crysta Christensen of Blackfoot, and Adam Christensen of Idaho Falls; sister, Nancy Cobley of Pocatello; brother, Mike Cronin of Montana; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Coluchi; and brothers-in-law, Jim Coluchi and Larry Cobley.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the LDS Church located at 229 Park Ave., in Twin Falls, Idaho, with Bishop Jim Maxson officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
