He married Artiss Keister on Oct. 7, 1972. To this union were born two sons, Daniel and Gabriel. He and Artiss later divorced. Marlin was briefly married to Kathleen Peters Busick. He worked for many years as a long-haul truck driver and most recently was employed by Handy Truck Line. He was a member of the LDS Church and the Albion Senior Citizens. Marlin loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding horses. He also liked working crossword puzzles. Most important to Marlin was his family. He looked forward to following the rodeo circuit and watching his nieces and nephews perform. He especially enjoyed the bull-riding events. However, the time spent with his granddaughter, Alexis, showing horses in the 4-H program, and watching his son, Daniel, and grandson, Braxton, ride dirt bikes were the highlights of his life.
Marlin will be deeply missed by his son and daughter-in-law, his grandchildren, mother, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and his many, many friends.
