TWIN FALLS - Roxie Jean Kennedy Jones, 53, of Twin Falls, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center with her children by her side.

Roxie was born on March 10, 1960, in Burley, Idaho, to Margaret Jean Nelson and Wesley Jewell Kennedy. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. But her favorite role was that of a grandmother. Roxie grew up in Idaho and later moved to Oregon and California. She spent her last days home in Idaho living right next door to her loving sister, Jodi, who spent every minute by her side. Roxie was a generous woman who never missed a birthday, anniversary, or holiday.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Bennett, Travis (Brianna) Jones, and Courtney (Tony) McIntyre; one grandson, Deacon Jones; her siblings, Roberta “Jodi” Couch, Robert (Vicki) Couch, and Kevin Lancaster; as well as her sweet dog, Jack.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley.
