BURLEY – Barbara Celestine (Welch) Dayley, age 92, of Burley, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley.

Barbara was born on March 10, 1922, in Soda Springs, Idaho, to John and Olive Welch. She married Ted (J Darrell) Dayley on her 16th birthday, March 10, 1938. He, on the other hand, was the ripe old age of 17.

She had one sister, Connie Crane. Ted and Barbara had four sons, Bob (Jo), Jay (Evelyn), Dennis (Marie), and Rex (Nancy). She had a way to make every one of her 28 grandchildren feel special, as well as her 80 great-grandchildren and her 11 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the Springdale LDS Church, 200 S. 475 E., of Burley, with Bishop Joey Christiansen officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
