Craig Steven Musselman HEYBURN – Craig Steven Musselman, age 57, of Heyburn, Idaho, passed away suddenly in his home on Friday, December 15, 2017, after medical complications due to diabetes.

He was born April 20, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Howard Neal and Darlene Hansen Musselman. He was raised in Roy, Utah. He married the love of his life, Susan Wood Musselman, on March 23, 1985. They were later sealed for time and all eternity on May 7, 1988, in the Ogden Utah LDS Temple.

As a child, Craig enjoyed riding dirt bikes, bicycles, and going hunting with his dad and four brothers. Craig was a hard worker and began working in the restaurant industry at the age of 14. It was at this time he discovered his passion for cooking and excelled as head chef in many restaurants. He met his “bride” while working as a chef; she was a waitress. He fulfilled his dream of opening his own restaurant, Craig’s Albion Café, in his later years of life and was well-known for his chicken fried steak and prime rib.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in many positions including Sunday school teacher and serving as ward food coordinator. He loved the gospel and was a great example to his family. He especially enjoyed doing Family History and temple work for his ancestors.

He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family. He had a deep love for his parents and took great care of them in their later years.

Craig is survived by his wife, Susan Musselman of Heyburn; his children, Jennifer Heath (Jeremy) of Ogden, Utah, Brittany Musselman (fiancé, Jeremy Normand, and ex-spouse, Jacob Maughan) of Rupert, Camille Adams (Cody) of Albion, and Megan Bair (Jade) of Rupert; 13 grandchildren, Mary, Michael, and Joseph Heath; Colton, Emma, and Audrey Normand; Glen and Gavin Maughan; Kenyon, Sophia, and Hank Adams; and Ellie and Tate Bair; three brothers, Jim Musselman (Jill), Dave Musselman (Kris), and Howard Musselman (Linda), all of Utah; his mother-in-law, Betty Wood of Ogden, Utah; and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Krista Lynn Musselman; father and mother, Howard and Darlene Musselman; brother, John Musselman; father-in-law, Gary Wood; and brother-in-law, Scott Wood.
