IDAHO FALLS - Linda Lee Lafferty, 51, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1962, in Burley, Idaho, the daughter of Doris and Noah Lafferty. She attended school in Burley. Linda later had two beautiful daughters, Heidi Jafek and Stephanie Jafek, whom she adored very much. She loved spending time with her three grandchildren and making memories. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, listening to music, crafts, cooking, and playing a good game of foosball with her friends. Most of all, she loved a good laugh.

Linda is survived by her longtime boyfriend, Brent Simon of Idaho Falls; her two daughters, Heidi Jafek of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Stephanie Jafek of Burley; three grandchildren, Kemper, Saylor, and Shooter Smith; two sisters, Corrine Cantu of Austin, Texas, and Barbara Pope (Carl) of Burley; and two brothers, Bob Lafferty of Burley, and Dennis Lafferty of Twin Falls.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noah Lafferty; her mother, Doris Lafferty; one sister, DeeAnn LaMarche; a brother, Steve Lafferty; and two brothers-in-law, Allen LaMarche and Andy Cantu.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley.
