BURLEY – LaVora Green Poulton, an 84-year-old resident of the Willow Creek area of Burley, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014.

She went all over southern Idaho with Dad going to rodeos, cutter and chariot racing, going to posse meets, and whatever else he asked her to do. She was also an awesome mom, raising six children and taking all of them along. She was also an awesome grandmother and great-grandmother, helping her grandchildren in every way.

LaVora was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary and Relief Society, however, her favorite calling was the ward librarian.

She will be missed by her family and many friends.

LaVora is survived by her children, Ellen (Bob) Reagan of Mountain Home, Bill (Margaret) Poulton of Burley, Helen (Ray) Helms of Burley, Polly Hatch of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada, and Chris (Sandy) Poulton of Oakley; three brothers, Roy (JoAnn) Green of Fort Collins, Colo., and Don W. (Ardyth) Green and Dan G. (Delores) Green both of Burley; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Della M. Harmon; two great-granddaughters, Ashleigh Haag and Ashley Hill; her parents; one sister, Ruth Green Catmull; and one brother, Vern N. Green.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the View LDS Church, 550 S. 490 E., of Burley. Burial will follow at Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley.
