HEYBURN - Rex Love Shurtz earned his wings on April 8, 2015, after being silently born to Rebel and Shania Shurtz, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Though he was only on earth a short amount of time, he left his footprint on all of our hearts. Rex touched many lives and was loved by all that met him.

Baby Rex is survived by his daddy, Rebel; his mommy, Shania; his big sister, Kolbie; and his big brother, Ryatt; as well as his grandparents, Kenny and Cindy Spencer, Shauna Davis, and Ross and Betty Shurtz; his great-grandparents, Gene and Deanna Baxter, Utahna Hurst, and Thelda Shurtz; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Baby Rex joins his papa, Rex Davis; and his great-grandparents, Love and Bonnie Spencer, and Leo Hurst.

We love you sweet baby angel, fly high until we meet again!

The family would like to thank the amazing nursing staff at St. Luke’s Labor and Delivery Unit.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Rupert Cemetery under the direction of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
