PAUL - Gary Dean Andrew, 58, passed away peacefully at his home in Paul, on Wednesday morning, Sept. 23, 2015, from a sudden and unexpected illness.

Gary, affectionately known as “Frog” to his family and friends, was born on Oct. 14, 1956, in Burley, Idaho, the second of four children born to Ivan M. and Donna Jane Hall Andrew. He graduated from Minico High School in 1974, and completed his education at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.

Gary enjoyed the simple things in life. In his younger years, he spent time fishing and hunting, and later, he liked watching a good movie and developing his outstanding computer skills. He worked for Dennis Peterson at Peterson’s Office Products in Rupert, for his brother-in-law, Dan Corless, and for the past several years was employed at Taz Construction, where he worked closely with Ralph Bott.

Even though Gary never married, he created many long and lasting friends throughout the community. If anyone was ever in need, he was the first to help. He is loved by and will be missed deeply by his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.

Gary is survived by his parents, Ivan and Donna Andrew; two brothers, Dennis Andrew and Dan (Julie) Andrew, all of Rupert; one sister, Karla (Dan) Corless of Paul; four nephews, Chris Andrew, Ben Andrew, Dylan Corless, and Kody Andrew; and a niece, Kayla Corless.

It was Gary’s request that he be cremated and that no formal service be held. A private family burial will take place at a future date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
