RUPERT – Debra Lynn Norman, a 63-year-old Rupert resident, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Debra was born February 9, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee, the oldest child of Lynn Spraggins and Shirley Winkler. The family moved out west to Fresno, California, where Debra graduated from high school. She married Raymond Norman, June 3, 1989, and they had a daughter, Lynni.

Debra was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a homemaker and a supportive mother and wife. She enjoyed painting rocks with her friend, Joy; camping with her husband, Ray, and sometimes her daughter and grandchildren would join them. She also enjoyed planting flowers and outside yard work as well as doing crafts and playing with her granddaughters.

Debra is survived by her husband of 30 years, Raymond; her mother, Shirley Stevenson; her daughter, Lynni Norman; grandchildren, Steven Norman, Sophie Wood, and Kendelle Wood; siblings, Terrial Spraggins, Michael Spraggins, Shirley Foster, Robie Burrows, Rebecca Caulfield, Christopher Spraggins, and Victoria Spraggins Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn; sister, Virginia Hieb; and brother, Richard Spraggins.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 21, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Rupert Stake Center, located at 324 E. 18th St., in Rupert, where a visitation will be held from 10 until 10:50 a.m. prior to the service.
