RUPERT – Linous Clive “Butch” Schell, 73, of Rupert, went home to his Savior on Saturday, December 25, 2021, with his loving companion Paula, by his side.
Butch was born December 22, 1948, in Rupert, Idaho, to Clive Schell and Marie Lenard Schell.
Butch grew up in Minidoka farming for his father. There he learned his hard work ethic and gained many lifelong friends. Butch left the farm to become a Minidoka County Deputy. After a few years, he decided to go back to Schell Farms to work with his father and later start Schell Trucking. In the last several years, Butch worked with and for Andy Lott of Arlo Lott Trucking. Andy held a special place in Butch’s life. Through his trucking business, Butch met his best friend and soulmate of 36 years, Paula Neyman. Butch and Paula were always on the go whether it was horse related, camping or racing cars. Along the way many friends were made, and good times had. Some of Butch’s fondest memories were racing his prized GTO with Paula and his son, Craig.
