DRIGGS – Aspen Rose Clinton, age 19, unexpectedly passed away November 9, 2023, on a beautiful fall day.
Aspen was born August 11, 2004, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Heath Edward Clinton and Mindy Kate Tolman Clinton. Our beautiful kind-hearted, full-loving daughter lived life always caring for others. Everybody she met couldn’t resist loving her bubbly personality as her laughter was very contagious and her jokes were dry. She never turned down the opportunity to help out with anything. Helping Mom, Dad and her family was always top of her list. Aspen went by many nicknames including: Appy, Appy Rose, Appy Pappy, Rosie Dozy, and many more.
Aspen lived her life in Teton Valley, Idaho. She attended Teton High School and graduated in 2021. Aspen loved being in the outdoors. Teton Valley provided opportunities for her to experience the outdoors. Aspen loved taking her dogs, Decoy, Ruger, Steele, and Diesel, out on hikes with her. When she wasn’t outdoors, she was home cuddling her cats, Bagheera, Cookie Dough, and many others. She spent many hours gaming and talking with her best friend, Antiono. Her real love were her nieces, Hazel and Olivia. She loved snuggling them; she often fell asleep holding them in her arms. She was also so excited to meet her nephew, Theodore, who is on the way.
Aspen was preceded in death by her brother, Heath E. Clinton, Jr.. and cousin, Alden Tolman. She survived by her parents, Heath Edward and Mindy Kate Clinton; her sisters, Shyla (Craig) Jenson, Makayla Clinton, and Cedar Clinton; and grandparents, Devan and Elaine Tolman and Charles and Claudette Clinton.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Driggs Idaho Stake Center, located at 225 N. First Street, in Driggs, where family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, November 17, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, preceding the funeral service. Burial will follow at Sugar City Cemetery in Sugar City, Idaho, at approximately 3 p.m.
