RUPERT – Daniel Nevarez Fuentes, a 59-year-old resident of Rupert, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Erika Fuentes, his son, Gabriel Fuentes; his father, Pablo Fuentes Jr.; his mother, Maria Del Rosario Nevarez Torrez; his brother, Rodolfo “Rudy” Nevarez Fuentes, his sister, Maria Elena Nevarez Rodriguez; one granddaughter, Enadahlia “Lala” Castro; and numerous aunts, uncle and cousins who will all miss Daniel very much.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, located at 802 F St., in Rupert, with the Rev. Father Camilo Garcia as celebrant. Burial will follow at Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley.

An evening vigil will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6 p.m.
