BURLEY – Lois Mae Jobe, a 94-year-old resident of Burley, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls.

Lois was born May 3, 1931, in Burley, Idaho. She lived most of her life in Idaho calling, Burley, Carey, Rupert, and Hailey home at different times. She didn’t have an easy life but worked hard and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Jobe; and her three sons, Jock, Ernie, and Ted Carter; her parents, Lucy and Jim Stocking; and her three brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Loa Kay Carter Whiteley; and her sister, Marlene Peterson; as well as three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service and internment of her ashes on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1 p.m., at the Carey, Idaho Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
