Chris Curtis Park BURLEY– Christopher C. Park, age 65, passed away after a three-year fight with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, generosity, and a life well lived.

Chris was born on February 11, 1961, in Santa Maria, California, to Kenneth Park and Marrietta Pratt. He grew up alongside his two brothers, forming strong family bonds that remained important throughout his life. During his senior year of high school, he moved to Idaho, a place he would come to call home.

Chris shared 42 devoted years of marriage with his beloved wife, Debra Park. Together, they built a loving blended family of five children. He was a proud father to Christopher Park Jr. and Sabrina Breezee, and a caring stepfather to Stephen Lewis, Brian Lewis, and Kerrie Amaya.

Throughout his career, Chris demonstrated dedication and versatility. He spent half of his working years in manufacturing and the other half as a business manager. He was also the proud owner of Park Pet Palace, a local pet store that reflected his entrepreneurial spirit and love for the community.

Chris was truly a man of many trades—whether working as a handyman, a mechanic, or anything in between, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Known for his outgoing personality, he never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. His warmth and willingness to help made a lasting impression on all who knew him.

In his free time, Chris found joy in the outdoors, especially camping and fishing—simple pleasures that brought him peace and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marrietta, and his brother, Robert. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra; his children, Christopher and Sabrina; his brother, Benjamin; and his stepchildren, Stephen, Brian, and Kerrie.

Chris will be remembered for his kindness, his work ethic, his humor, and the genuine way he connected with others. His presence will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

In accordance with Chris’ wishes, no formal services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
