Jule Ann Bench

PROVO, UTAH - Jule Ann Bench, 58, of Provo, Utah, formerly of Burley, died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, as a result of an injury incurred from an accidental fall.

She was born August 16, 1957, in Burley, Idaho, the daughter of Norman T. Bench (deceased) and Bobbie Lee Robbins Bench. Jule was a graduate of Burley High School, class of 1976. She had a beautiful soprano voice and sang in choirs throughout her life, including the Utah County Single Adult Choir. It became Bench family tradition to attend her choir concerts, especially around Christmas time.

She was an ambitious worker, always maintaining at least one job and sometimes more. At the time of her passing, Jule was employed at Title West Title Company and Maverik. She loved her community and looked forward to the annual Cassia County Fair, where she would mingle with her many friends and listen to her brother, Gary perform on the free-stage.

She loved to shop and seized every opportunity to do so. She also loved to cook and try new recipes to share with friends and family at the many family parties and activities she organized. Travel was a favorite pastime of hers; she particularly enjoyed ocean cruises, Hawaii, and visiting family.

She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Lee; two sisters, Zena Rae Bench and Janiece Hirai; six brothers, Michael R., Dorian R., Galen R., Adrian R., Jay R., and Lee R. Bench

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman; and brother, Gary R. Bench.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at the Pella LDS Church, 160 W. 400 S., of Burley, where family and friends may call from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Officiating will be Bishop Trent Robinson. Burial will follow at the Pella Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
