Nevoy J. Tracy
PAUL – Nevoy J. Tracy, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at home in Paul, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nevoy was born on March 18, 1931, to Jesse and Luella Coleman Tracy at Yost, Utah. He attended school in Yost and graduated from Raft River High School in Malta, in 1949. He served four years in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. He married Mary Miller in 1959, in Elko, Nevada.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Tracy of Paul; his children, Mark Tracy of Heyburn, and Susan (David) Puckett of Pasco, Wash.; one sister, Colleen Barnes of Burley; a sister-in-law, Sharon Tracy of Malta; three granddaughters, Shauna Pons (Garth) of Rupert, Heather (Clint) Young of Pasco, Wash., and Jaime (Brian) Seamons of Logan, Utah; and six great-grandchildren, Christopher Pons, Christian Skeen, Vylett and Brogan Young, and Porter and Ryker Seamons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lavere Tracy and Bryce Tracy both of Malta; one sister, Rhea Evans of Burley; and one granddaughter, Lisa Tracy of Grafton, N.D.
For anyone that ever visited the Tracy home, it is evident that Nevoy loved his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One could tell this by the photos placed on the refrigerator and throughout the house.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Ebenezer Congregational Church, 129 N. 2nd W., in Paul, with the Rev. Brandon Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Paul Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, March 15, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and from 1 until 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.
