JT Bennett
RUPERT – JT Bennett, son of Bill and Fay Bennett, was reunited with his family Jan. 26, 2017, due to a heart attack.
He was born June 13, 1947, in Rupert, Idaho. He was raised on a farm northeast of Rupert where he enjoyed riding horses and working with livestock. JT was content when he was with his horse, his lariat, and his leather gloves.
He served an LDS mission for two years in the Gulf States.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Paul West; and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his sister, Alta West of Rupert; and nephew, Ty West of Burley.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the Rupert West LDS Stake Center, 26 S. 100 W., of Rupert, with Bishop Mike Child officiating. Friends and family may call from 10 until 10:45 a.m. preceding the service at the church. Burial will be in the Rupert Cemetery.
