GILBERT, ARIZONA – Scott James Tegan, age 40, of Gilbert, Arizona, and formerly of Burley, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Gilbert, Arizona.
He was born Nov. 16, 1971, in Burley, the son of Bruce Thomas and Kristine Ann Inman Tegan.
Scott had lived in Burley, Sacramento, California, and Gilbert, Arizona. He graduated from Encina High School in Sacramento, California and was currently taking online college courses. He had worked in the private security and pest control business.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in the Idaho, Pocatello Mission from 1991 - 1993.
Scott enjoyed guns, music, cars, and photography.
He is survived by one brother, David Thomas (Tricia) Tegan of Tucson, AZ; one sister, Jennifer Ann (Greg) Liedtke of Mather, CA; his mother, Kristine Ann Tegan of Citrus Heights, CA; a maternal grandmother, Beverly Bedford of Sacramento, CA; his nieces, Allison Liedtke, and Amanda Tegan; and his nephews, Aaron Tegan, and Thomas Tegan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Thomas Tegan; paternal grandparents, James and Lucille Tegan; and his maternal grandfather, Henry Forte Inman.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the View Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 until 12 noon prior to the graveside service on Saturday, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley.
