Rosanne Kunzler Randall
BURLEY – Rosanne Kunzler Randall, age 72, of Burley, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 14, 2014, at her home.
Rosanne was born on Aug. 16, 1941, in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of William and Elsa Wolsky Kunzler. She was raised in Willard, Utah, and graduated from Box Elder High School. After graduation, she moved with her family to the View area southeast of Burley. Rosanne married the love of her life, Richard Grant Randall, on Feb. 13, 1964, in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. They then moved to the Pella area where they have spent the past 50 years. They had just celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
She worked at a bank as a bookkeeper for several years and was a paper carrier for many years for the South Idaho Press until its closing. She and Richard owned and operated R & R Greenhouse and loved every minute working side-by-side. However, most important to Rosanne was being a stay-at-home mom. She loved her family and instilled in them the importance of hard, honest work and in getting a firm education.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, scrap-booking, genealogy, tole painting, gardening, reading, puzzles and playing games with family.
Rosanne was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully throughout her life. She especially enjoyed her years of service in the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. While her children were young, she served as a 4-H leader. She also spent countless hours doing humanitarian service. She made and provided many different items for Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Randall of Burley; her children, Rochelle Pinnock (Rick) of American Fork, Utah, Cynthia Nottle of Rupert, Heidi Green (Tyler) of American Fork, Utah, Nathan Randall (Kathy) of Burley, Krista McKinney (Michael) of American Fork, Utah, and Kayleen Meline (Leon) of Burley; 25 grandchildren; and her siblings, Ida Barker of Pleasant View, Utah, Will Reese Kunzler (Sue) of Burley, Lewis Kunzler (Kathleen) living in Arizona, James Spencer Kunzler (Andra) of Burley, Carol Joy Smith (Cecil) of Sandy, Utah, and Arnold Lawrence Kunzler of Ogden, Utah.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Ann McKinney; a son-in-law, James Nottle; her parents; and six brothers, Floyd, Glenn, Russell, Ernest, Mark and William Kunzler.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, at the Pella LDS Church, 160 W. 400 S., of Burley. Burial will be in the Pella Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church.
