Danny Lee Brackenbury

BURLEY – On Wednesday, January 31, 2018, Danny Lee Brackenbury’s "worn-out and much-used heart" gave out after a lifetime of sharing his love with family, friends, animals and all
others whom he may have crossed paths with.

Dan was the first-born child of Bob Lee Brackenbury and Shirley Tracy. He was the
loving big brother to Denise Brackenbury, Craig (Lynette) Brackenbury, and Lesia
Anderson. Dan took to the role of uncle like a fish to water. His nieces and nephews
were his shining stars and his sky blue eyes would twinkle whenever they were near
him. He cherished every moment he spent in their presence.

Danny was many things, however, most of all he was a member of our family, a brother,
a son, an uncle, a cousin, and friend. He graced our history. And for those of us who
knew and loved him—he graced our lives. Danny was, above all else, a family man,
followed very closely by honest and respectable.

Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents – both paternal and maternal; a
younger sister, Denise Shirley; his brother-in-law, David; two nephews; a niece; and
numerous completely-loved family members and friends.

Do what’s right and do what’s good. Be kind and help others. The world can always
use one more kind person. And if you can take it one step further, please do it for Dan.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Monday, Feb. 5, at Sunny Cedar Rest
Cemetery in Almo, Idaho, with a gathering to follow at the Outpost Steakhouse in Almo.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Horizon Home Health and
Hospice for their support in his final days.

From Darryl Boren:
I am sorry to hear of this..... Danny was one of the kindest people I knew when I was younger and used to live in Idaho.... We worked together at Ore-Ida foods and sometimes hung around together.... The world could use more people the way he was...
