HEYBURN - Donald Wayne Foust, a 57-year-old lifetime resident of the Mini-Cassia area, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls.

He was born on April 26, 1957, in Burley, Idaho, the son of Donald Edward and Marcia L. Carson Foust. He received his education locally and graduated from Minico High School. He then enlisted in the United States Army where he served for three years. Don married the love of his life, Glynis Susan “Sue” Toevs on March 23, 1985, in the Paul United Methodist Church.

He worked as the assistant superintendent for the City of Paul prior to his employment in underground cable placement for Century Link Telephone. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a former member of the Southern Idaho Bro’s motorcycle club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, motorcycle riding, moto-cross riding, his horses, and snowmobiling. However, most important to Don was his family. He liked family barbecues and loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. His daughters were truly “Daddy’s girls.”

Don is survived by his wife, Susan Foust of Heyburn; his two daughters, Jessamy Susan (Matt) Harrell of Nampa, and Kymberly Dawn Foust of Heyburn; two grandchildren, Landon and Alexcia; his father, Donald Edward (Virginia) Foust of Bullhead City, Ariz.; his siblings, Tamara (Bill) Lynard of Eagle, and Scott Foust of Caldwell; one stepbrother, Steven Hess; and a stepsister, Janet Henry.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Foust; and a brother, Robert Foust.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, where friends and family may call from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley with military rites provided by the Mini-Cassia Veterans Organization.
