David “Joshua” Marr, 34 years old, and a resident of Boise and Burley Idaho, left us unexpectedly Friday April 20, 2018 from cardiac arrest brought on by an allergic reaction.
Joshua was born in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1983 and relocated to Idaho in 2001.
Joshua studied many things, but especially music. He was an accomplished musician and song writer and was in the middle of completing a major musical project that he had been working on for quite some time. He graduated from BSU with his degree in English. He was an avid reader, loved books and was writing his own novel. Joshua had a heart for all peoples and was always trying to help those that needed help even if he didn’t have the resources to do it; he found a way.
Joshua is survived by his father, David A. Marr; his mother, Wendy L. Marr; and his brother Jeremy A. Marr. He has a loving family that also includes his ex-wife, Kristen Marr; and his children, Cohen (age six) and Everly (age four) who were everything to him. Joshua was a loving and caring father, always looking to help his children have fun and enjoy life even being so young. He is also survived by both sets of grandparents; Denis & LaFaun Jeffs and Roger & Janice Marr. He is also survived by his uncle, Denis Jeffs II. He is preceded in death by his uncle, J. Michael Marr in 2000.
Joshua had a way of always making you laugh, feeling comfortable and wanting to do more for everyone. Joshua will always be remembered as the one who could entertain anyone and you loved every minute of it. Joshua will always be remembered and never forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, at Gem Memorial Gardens, 2435 Overland Ave., in Burley.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley.
