BURLEY - Betty Florence Jones Berrier, age 87, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, of causes incident to age.
She was born on March 23, 1927, in Almo, Idaho, the youngest of eight children born to Jesse David and Florence (Eames) Jones. She married the love of her life, Jerry Berrier, on May 17, 1947, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together, they shared 65 years of happiness and raised three children.
She is survived by her son, Chris Berrier; daughters, Ann Webster (Walt), and Sherma Ramsey (Wayne); four grandchildren, Jared Ramsey (Patience), Katie Webster (Norton), Kellie Ramsey (Murphy), and Brynne Webster (Hutchins); and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents; and all her siblings.
Betty was an active member of the LDS Church, serving tirelessly in her callings. She worked for many years for the Cassia County Sheriff’s Department in the drivers license division. After retirement, she and Jerry traveled and spent winters in St. George, Utah. She was a wonderful grandmother and enjoyed having adventures with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Please join us in a celebration of Betty's life at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, where friends and family may call from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Clay Handy. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
