Kevin Haag

RUPERT – Kevin Mark Haag, age 54, of Rupert, Idaho, passed away on Oct. 30, 2014, with loved ones by his side.

Kevin was born in Burley, Idaho, on Feb. 7, 1960, to his parents Donna M. Ainsworth and Eric Max Haag. He grew up in Paul, Idaho, and attended Minico High School. Kevin worked for Magic Valley Equipment for the past 12 years.

Kevin loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, looking for arrowheads and anything else that kept him in the outdoors. His favorite thing to do was to go out early on a winter morning, with fresh snow covering the ground, and call in coyotes. His family was the most important priority in his life. He was a true friend to many and loved by all. He had such a big heart and would do anything for a friend in need. Those who had the privilege of knowing Kevin knew him to be one of the most genuine people you would ever meet. He was true to himself, loved deeply, and made you laugh with all his stories.

Kevin is survived by his three children, Andrea R. (Chris S.) Reavis, Bill M. (Sara) Haag, Bobbi Jo (James) O’dell; his six grandchildren, Alyssa, Spencer, Cassidy, Jeremiah, Hudson, and Ian; two brothers, Eric Robin Haag and Rodney Haag; his love Cathy Purin; and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered by many others whose hearts he touched during his lifetime.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Eric Max and Donna Haag as well as his sister Nannette Miller.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Kevin Haag Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo.

We wish to thank all friends and family who made the last few months of our Dad’s life special as he battled pancreatic cancer.

The Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at Grace Community Church, 100 N. Meridian in Rupert. Burial will be at the Marion Cemetery in Oakley.

He said he did his best in life, but we think he was the best!

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home in Burley.
