Margarita G. Nevarez
BURLEY – Margarita G. Nevarez was born in Pharr, Texas, on June 10, 1947. She left this earth to meet her Heavenly Father on March 4, 2015, at the age of 67.
She is survived by her husband, Rene Nevarez Sr.; one son, Rene Nevarez Jr.(Mary); two daughters, Mary Alice Nevarez (Robert Milanovich) of Meridian, and Connie Aguirre of Burley; two brothers, Domingo Barra (Lourdes) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Victor Barra Jr. (Anna) of Burley; two sisters, Rosalinda Beltran of Burley, and Roberta Barra of Boise; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Margarita was preceded in death by her mother, Dominga Barra; brother, Saul Gonzales; and grandson, Donovan Mendoza.
Margarita passed away at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, with her family at her bedside. The family would like to thank the EMTs and staff at St. Luke’s who cared for Margarita in her final hours.
Margarita was a very boisterous woman with an infectious laugh. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at the First Baptist Church, 2262 Hiland Ave., in Burley, with Pastor Lucio Gutierrez officiating.
Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
