Todd Call
BURLEY - Todd Reuben Call, 50, of Boise, and formerly of Burley, returned to the loving arms of his mother, Enetta, and sister, Lenee, on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, surrounded by his family at home.
Todd was born June 19, 1965, in Burley, Idaho, to Melvin Reuben and Enetta (Jensen) Call. He grew up the youngest of six, working hard on the farm, and running wild on the streets of the Pella area with his best buddies. He attended elementary school in Burley and graduated from Burley High School, class of 1984. He attended trade school in Salt Lake City, Utah, to study heavy equipment operation. He moved back to Burley and worked on the farm prior to moving to Boise.
In 1989, he met and fell in love with Judy and her beautiful two-year-old daughter, Janae - who he would call his own. In 1992, they added a second beautiful girl to their family, Alyssa Lynn. In 1995, a handsome son, Dallas Melvin, would join the family. His kids were his proudest achievement.
He enjoyed woodworking and worked as a carpenter most of his adult life. He was very talented and could turn an old piece of wood into a work of art. He worked for Greyloch Cabinets for many years.
Todd was loved by all who knew him. There are endless amounts of people he called friends. His heart was as big as the state of Idaho. He was there to help anyone at anytime. He was so proud of his kids and his nieces and nephews. His family and friends were the most important thing to him.
He is survived by his father, Melvin R. Call of Burley; three children, Janae (Michael) Stowe of Sumter, S.C., Alyssa Call of Boise, and Dallas (Kieya) Call of Hinesville, Ga.; their mother, Judy Allumbaugh of Boise; a grandson, Ryker Libby; siblings, Leland (Judy) Call of Francis, Utah, LaRene (Steven) Woolstenhulme of St. George, Utah, Karen Call of Greeley, Colo., and Susan Tyacke of Federal Way, Wash.; nieces, Melanie, Kindra, Kara, and Jordan; nephews, Chad, Coy Ryan, Eli, and Stayton; eight great-nephews; four great-nieces; and numerous friends.
Todd was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his mother, Enetta Call; a sister, Lenee Call; and nephew, Shane Call.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, where friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Burial will be in Pella Cemetery.
