BURLEY - Jilli Adriana Steele Koyle, 44, of Burley, Idaho, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015.
Jilli was born July 27, 1971, in Elgin, Ill., to Gary Vernon Steele, Sr. and Jeannie Kathleen Blanck. Jilli grew up in Illinois and has always had a love of learning. Jilli moved to Idaho after high school and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, where she met Rex Fielding Koyle of Heyburn. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 29, 1991. She also attended CSI and participated in the pathway program for BYU-I. Jilli became the beloved mother of ten children who were the joy of her life.
Jilli joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the age of 15 on March 28, 1987. She enjoyed serving in many capacities in the church and raising her children in the gospel. Jilli created a Christ-centered home and raised her children in love.
Jilli was a firm believer and advocate for the Constitution of the United States of America. Along with home-schooling her ten children, Jilli also taught at a private school in Kimberly, teaching art, sewing, and PE. She also loved working in the harvest and especially enjoyed driving the trucks. Jilli loved teaching and writing. She loved flowers and plants. She loved looking at blue prints for homes and at home decorating ideas. She worked hard so that she could have the dream home that her family could come home to. Jilli’s most important job was being a wife and a mother.
Jilli is survived by her husband, Rex Fielding Koyle of Burley; her children, Emmett (Lindsey) Koyle of Malta, Spencer, Siera, Camille (serving an LDS mission in Gilbert, Ariz.), Alexie, Nathan, Jilea, Brigham, Ariana, and Landon Koyle; her father, Gary Vernon Steele, Sr.; siblings, Julie Wise (Rick) of Illinois, Gary Vernon Steele, Jr. of Ohio, and Greg Victor Steele of Wisconsin; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Jilli was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannie Kathleen Blanck Steele; and her father-in-law, Lavon J. Koyle.
