Marva Marie Neibaur

PAUL – Marva Marie Richards Neibaur, 88, of Paul, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015.

She was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Twin Groves, Idaho, to William Ralph and Myrtle Sarah (Jeffs) Richards. Marva was raised on a farm with a close-knit family of five brothers and one sister. They enjoyed getting together often for picnics, fishing, camping, and huckleberry picking. She married the love of her life, Warren Neibaur, on March 20, 1945, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were blessed with five children, Brad, Ryan, Mona, Patti, and Karla.

Marva loved raising her family on a farm north of Paul, riding in the semi-truck with Warren, golfing, bowling, sewing, growing gardens and flowers, painting, and cooking for one and all. Some of her favorite memories were of golfing and traveling with Warren and spending time in Island Park with family and friends.

Marva held several callings in the LDS Church from Relief Society president to the Primary, and later, serving a mission with her special companion, Warren. She was also a pink lady at Minidoka Memorial Hospital. Her specialty, though, was her compassionate service to everyone in need, especially the elderly.

She is survived by her sons, Brad (Dianne) Neibaur and Ryan (Vicky) Neibaur; her daughters, Mona (Brian) Espinosa, Patti (Fritz) Murdock, and Karla Mooso; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Bill Richards, Randall Richards, and Cleve Richards.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren; brothers, Daryl and Val Richards; and her sisters, Veda and Villa Richards.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Paul LDS Stake Center, 424 W. Ellis St., in Paul, with Bishop Kerry Sanford officiating. Burial will be in the Paul Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
