Patricia Amanda Hatton Morey

Apr. 21, 1935 - Apr. 4, 2020

YOST, UTAH – Patricia Amanda Morey, an 84-year-old resident of Yost, Utah, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Cassia Regional Hospital.

Pat was born April 21, 1935, in Ferron, Utah, the daughter of Donald and Chell Edwards Hatton. She served in the United States Air Force from 1957 until 1959 and received the rank of Senior Airman. She subsequently spent the majority of her remainder years in Yost, Utah.

Pat loved to oil paint and made many friends through this talent. She touched everyone’s life that walked through her front door. She could always be found with a book in her hand, a knitting project, or playing the piano and singing with the grandchildren. Pat lived a very simple life, but she never complained and always found gifts and blessings in the “little things.”

Pat is survived by her brother, David Hatton (Eileen) of Kanosh, Utah; a sister, Linda Booth of Kanosh, Utah; six children; eight stepchildren; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be missed fiercely, but it is a great comfort to know that she is with her Father in Heaven, is reunited with her family, and that we will one day see her again.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private burial took place at the Yost Cemetery in Yost, Utah, under the direction of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, Burley, Idaho.

From Wynn and Jeannine Dewsnup:
A visit with Pat was always most memorable, as she is a very spiritual, intelligent, artistic, and witty person. She shared her talents with us in a personal way, as we have several of her paintings, and a very special mural that is a complete wall! We will always remember her standing on the scaffolding and painting such a large project with
fierce determination! Hers was a life well spent. She will be missed. With our condolences and love, Wynn and Jeannine Dewsnup
