From Ann M Marion:
Please accept my condolences for your loss. Raeola sang at my father-in- laws funeral many years ago. She was my husbands mother’s (Alice Marion)cousin. She was a wonderful and kind lady. She had a beautiful voice and shared it with so many. Her services were the day after her cousin Isabelle Pedersen from CA. She was also my mother-in-law’s cousin. Our Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways sometimes. Both women lived long beautiful lives.
From Elva Jo Edmondson Banner:
I was always uplifted when I was around Raeola. She always made me feel important and special. It was through music that we met. My life was enriched because my path crossed with her and her family.
From Camey (Brewer) Tucker:
Aunt Raeola what a spark of JOY you were on this Earth. Seeing your sweet smile in the summer and getting big hugs from you and Uncle Cal were simply the best. Felt so loved. I have a love for orange push up pops because of you. You would let us get a treat out of your freezer when we visited. I wish I could have been there to honor you. Your family is in my prayers. MaryKaye sends her love too. We thought about how great a reunion you must be having right now and all the beautiful singing taking place. Much love to all at this tender time.
From Edith Drake Nielsen:
I'm so sorry. I loved my beautiful aunt so much. It always tickled me that I had an aunt who was younger than my sister. We lived in Arizona when I was little, but I remember a trip to Grandma's when I was 4 and Raeola was about 8 and she let me play with her dolls. I remember when she was dating Cal and how much in love they were...a love that remained all their lives. She had such a beautiful voice and many times she sang duets with my sister. She had a good life and was much loved and will be remembered. My condolences to all of the family.
From Shanna Farwell :
What a beautiful service, the memories of Raeola are dear to my heart. She was always willing to help with my singing and her example was always the very best. I love and appreciate all of Raeola and Calvin’s family. They were always kind to me just like their mother. I pray that each of you will be comforted in knowing that she is with your dad maybe even riding in a pickup.
From Sherrie Martin:

We as a family have fond memories Raeola and Calvin my children remember going to there home on Halloween and how pretty there house was at Christmas. She had such a beautiful voice I remember her encouraging Jerry to sing how he loved that. May your mind be filled with peace and all the happy memories as a family. Sorry for your loss.
From Judy Talbot Fuller:
I haven't lived in Unity (Burley) for near 70 years. but I always remember this beautiful lady and her singing voice. As a teen age girl I admired her very much. she was beautiful inside and out.
From Shirley Andersen Badger:
I have known Raeola most all my life - She is one of the first teachers I remember, as she taught me in Primary. I have appreciated the fact that she always remembered me. Generally I would see Raeola and Caleen in town, and she always spoke to me and called me by name. It has been years since my family moved from the Unity area into Burley, so I didn't see Raeola often, but I will be forever grateful that she still cared enough to acknowledge me. She sang at my Father's funeral (Thorwal Andersen), but was not available to sing at Mother's funeral, which made me sad. Raeola is someone I have always loved and admired, and at this time I pray for her family, that their hearts might find comfort and peace, knowing that their parents are together once again, happy and grateful to look forward to the eternities together.
From Ray and Deanne Patterson:
Our lives have been enriched by our association with the Crane family. We are ever so blessed to have had that association.
From Allan & Janet Wilson :
I always loved to hear her sing. Last time was at my mother’s (Dorcas Wilson) funeral. Cal helped me give mom a blessing prior to her death. Raeola is a person who you love immediately and felt she was always a friend. I can still see her from my youthful eyes leading the singing in in Sacrament meeting (old Unity Ward)and helping us as youth as a leader. I give her credit as a great friend and example to me. May the family know of our love for her and may they find peace in a life well lived.
From Kathy & Don Loveland:
We lost a great lady. She and Cal rasied a great family. What more can you ask for.
From Gay and Lonnie Downs:
We loved Raeola and Calvin! Like so many in our community, we always saw them riding, side by side, in Calvin's pickup truck. This always brought a smile to our faces and we will always remember this example of enduring love between this special couple. We enjoyed Raeola's beautiful singing at so many funerals...even at my father's as well as more joyous occasions. Her love for the color purple is shared by me as well. What a joyous reunion there surely is with Calvin and all of her siblings, parents, and other loved ones. We will never forget this sweet lady. Our love and prayers to all of her family.
From Lynn and Garth Osterhout:
We will always remember watching Raeola and Calvin driving down the road sitting side by side like a couple of teenagers. She was always sitting right next to him.......if two people could look like the really belonged together it was them. We like to think the they are back together now sitting side by side like a couple of teenagers. You are all in our hearts as we pray that God's loving grace will comfort you as you mourn.
