From Janice Adams Hansen :
At the age of 7, I attended the marriage of Dorothy and Earnie, at the Marion church house. The Emery family were special people to me. Dorothy’s mother and my grandma are sisters. I am happy to know that she and Earnie are together again after a very long separation. My condolences to Janis and Alan.
From Nancy Clark:
My Aunt Dorothy was such a big part of my life. We lived next door and often went back and forth. My memories mostly involve my Uncle Earn and Aunt Dot. Our families were close and often did things together. I remember rides to the City Of Rocks. There is a rock going into the Park that looks like a breast. Uncle Earn would always tease there's titty rock. Aunt Dot would scold "Oh Earney" Christmas Eve together was a huge memory. We always had a talent show. It was such fun as children to plan our act. Dorothy always read the Little match Girl. And sang Hush Thee My Baby with my sisters and Janis. So many many memories. Aunt Dorothy will be missed.
From Margaret Miller:
I wouldn't be the person I am without the influence of Aunt Dot and Uncle Earn. When we were in Primary, she packed her car with so many Albion kids that one day the car door opened and Janis rolled out. As a teacher I often wished I could channel her, so small of stature and never a raised voice, but she commanded the attention of all in the room. Dot and Earn taught was so many lesson, sayings and songs. I sure loved her.
From Roger Hill:
She was a wonderful lady. She was one of the people to welcome us when we moved to Albion.
