I will miss Erick. I think of him once in a while and always smile. He was a good influence in my life even if he was cocky about is Nintendo baseball skills. I can still see him in his big white hoodie in high school with that special quote from Bel Biv Devoe. Thank you for the good times, Stroke!! See you on the other side!
From Carol Shockey:
I was fortunate to work with Erick at Nature's Best. He was so kind and funny. Many good memories of a good man.
From Michelle Harmon Miles:
This is Michelle, granddaughter of Deloss Stoker. Rick and I interactions mostly took place at reunions. I remember going to reunions (I think in Logan Ut) and Rick was there. Rick was always smiling and his laugh was infectious. Rick was an emotional and spiritual giant who left impression of optimism on me I will never forgot..... he is truly remarkable. God gave you a gift in Rick, and Rick gave his gift to everyone he knew.
From Michelene Clark White :
I am so sad for your loss Uncle Bob and Aunt Sharen, Shanna and Lynette. Rick was born when I was on my mission in Colombia so I didn’t get to know my little cousin as well as my younger siblings, Dan, Kristin and Jon. I will always remember him as a fun-loving and active little boy who was a joy to everyone. I so admired his determination to be college educated and I loved to hear about his love for the Seahawks on social media. My son Spencer also has fond memories of Rick at the Stoker reunions we attended through the years. May our Heavenly Father give you comfort in the knowledge that we will be with him again. I am sure he is rejoicing seeing his grandparents and all the Stoker uncles, aunts and cousins who have passed.
From Launa Jaynes :
I echo many thoughts already expressed. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers in your behalf. Rick was a force to be reckoned with, always cheerful, always fun, a dedicated Seahawk fan, and a beloved cousin. He accepted his lot in life with determination and strength. I know how tough this is for you Uncle Bob & Aunt Sharen and Shanna and Lynette. I also know your pain is lessened a bit by imagining the joy on the otherside. I am still sorry for your loss for now. Love to you all. Launa
From Kristin Price:
Love to you Uncle Bob and Aunt Sharen, Shanna, Lynette, and your families. My heart hurts for all of you. Rick is a “super hero” for all of us!! I have so many memories of little Rick, reunions, Rupert, watching him grow up and become a good Man. Loved him so much. Enjoyed his chuckle, his wit and his tenacity!! I never was into sports but I learned quickly about the “Seahawks”!! May you all have comfort at this time with the prayers that are for your sweet Family. Love again to all and may your hearts eventually have less pain.
From Ray Whittier:

Rick was not only my cousin but my buddy! We were the same age and spent many of our days growing up playing at grandma and grandpas farm and the potato cellars at their place. You will be missed sweet cousin! Aunt Sharon, uncle Bob. Lynette and Shanna I am so sorry. You are only thoughts and prayers!
From Thomas Murphy:
Erick had a personality and grit that was much larger than his stature. He was very kind, always happy, and would make people feel welcomed. He usually had something funny to say and could make people laugh. He will be missed, and like many others I was impressed with his fortitude and endurance. My heart goes out to his family. I'm glad I was able to know Erick.

It is so sad for any parent to lose a child and I'm so sorry for you, Uncle Bob, Aunt Sharen, Shanna and Lynnette. At the same time, I'm happy that he is free from his crippled body. I admire his fortitude. He always seemed up-beat even though I'm sure he had his moments of sorrow and heartbreak.
