Miguel Angel Rocha

Jan. 7, 1947 - Nov. 21, 2020

Date of Service: Nov. 25, 2020

Miguel Angel Rocha, age 73, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, in San Luis Rio, Colorado, Mexico.

Miguel was born January 7, 1947, in Sinaloa, Mexico, to Eleodora & Roberto Rocha, where he shared his upbringing with his brothers and sisters: Gilberto, Ramon, Esteban, Raul, Panchita, Tulita, Refaila, Briatriz, Angelita, Elma, and Marinita. He married Consuelo Rocha, and they had eight children: Lourdes, Jesus, Roberto, Angel Leban, Jaime, Cesar, Lolly, and Marisela; two of which have passed away, Roberto and Jesus.

Miguel came to the United States in 1972. He worked for Anderson Brothers and ran his own trucking business. He loved working and the farm life with his animals. He also had some amazing gardens. He had so much love for his family. He was always willing to lend a hand to whoever was in need. He would also make sure there were no empty bellies.

Miguel had a great sense of humor and he was the biggest jokester, even when he was at his worst. He could never have enough family time. His family was his spark in life. He will always carry a special place in our hearts.

In recent years, Miguel worked in Mexico where he had his own cheese business. He was very well respected and loved by many. He was truly one of a kind. He was very generous and made sure that everyone around him was taken care of.

A Rosary service will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 12 Noon on Wednesday, November 25, at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, located at 1601 Oakley Avenue, in Burley. Burial will follow at Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley.
