BURLEY – Jeannie Rae Wayment, a 61-year-old resident of Burley, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2020, at her daughter’s home.

Jeannie was born May 14, 1959, in Rupert, Idaho, the daughter of Shirley & Charles Gutzman. She was raised in Rupert and received her education through the Minidoka School District.

Jeannie adored her children, but most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent countless hours teaching her family to sew, fish and hunt–what she did best. Nature happened to be her second nature. She was a homemaker and master fisher woman.

Jeannie is survived by her lifelong companion, Kent Wayment; daughter, Mickey Feeney of Burley; son, Todd (Sabrina) Breezee of Burley; grandchildren, Anthony (Whitney) McCann, Kateesha McCann, Jordon (Eli) Hughes, Austin (Aubrey) Rose, Kyllie (Devon) Fitzsimmons, Dylan Breezee, Riley Breezee, Kaitlyn Feeney, April Breezee, Ray Breezee, Kaleie Gibson, Tristen Breezee, Skyler Breezee, Katherine Gutzman, and Ashley Eppers; and many great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored until her last breath.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dawn Eppers, Joannie Gutzman, and Dwayne Gutzman; her daughter, Tifney Rush; son-in-law, James R. Feeney; and great-grandson, Aisen Rose.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley. Burial will follow at the View Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, December 7, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday preceding the service.

For those unable to attend the funeral in person, a live webcast of the Funeral Service will be available at the following link: https://youtu.be/jNMorWkhwC4.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed for those attending the visitation or funeral service.
