I'm so sorry for your loss of DeVerl Richins. He helped me a lot as a young adult from my baptism to my Patriarchal Blessing to receive my endowment. I appreciate his kind service toward me. Arlene & Deverl even came to my wedding over 10 years ago and he did perform the ring ceremony. That was the icying on the top of the cake for him and me. Sister Arlene Richins, I love you so much. I know you'll be with him one day again.
From Owen and Saundra Smith:
Saundra have friends with DeVerl and Arlene for the time spent here in Pleasant Grove. We always enjoyed their company and attending church together. I spoke with De a week before his passing and he was comfortable with his situation. I asked him to save a space for me when I come, and he said he would. He was so proud of his family and loved Arlene.
From Steve A Allen:

From Steve & Lynda DeMille:
Steve and I have been LDS Ministers to DeVerl and Arlene for a couple of years now.
The spirit in their home has always been so warm and inviting. We loved hearing the stories of their many trips and travels. The European trip with their children was a special delight to them. What a wonderful memory for all of you now.
DeVerl lived a very good life and influenced many people. He seemed to always be in a good mood and positive about life to the very end — a great example of what it means to “endure to the end.”
We love DeVerl and Arlene very much.

From Leslie (and Jon) Clarke:
We loved DeVerl. He lived down the street for around twenty years in Stonecliffe. He taught the scouts how to tie knots when I was a Cub leader. I always loved visiting with him and Arlene at church and on walks. He was a true friend and we are sad to hear of his passing. He is as good as they come.
