From Toyia Hutchison:
My deepest condolences to the entire family.
Mr. Hall was my principal, my math teacher and a very respected member of our community.
He will be truly missed.
From Lori Bird:
What an amazing man and great family. He always treated me with love and kindness. Like the day we chatted about the fair and the fact that I was working a long shift and hadn’t made it to the fair yet. He left with a smile and returned with a box full of maple bars for me. It was a joy to have gotten to know him. I will dearly miss him. RIP my friend
From Scott and Patty Rasmussen:
Rodney was a great man and we didn't know him long, but he had an influence on our lives. Grateful that we could have seen the broadcast of the funeral and graveside, thank you.

Our love goes out to all the family for the recent loss of Rodney. The rock and foundation of your family. We carry fond memories of meeting both Rodney and Jane for the first time at Ken's homecoming after his mission. He will always hold a special place in our hearts with his love and kindness for others. May you find love, happiness and comfort through all your memories of your Dad.
From Gar Elison:
Our condolence to Julene and Rodney's children along with his siblings. May your knowledge of the after life provide comfort and reassurance. Knowing you will see him again brings hope for being together in the next life. Gar & Marilyn
From Jonathan Lewis:
I never met anyone who knew more about a little bit of everything than my grandpa! He could tell you how wild oat germination differed from what we had in the field, about the phases of the moon, and what geometry was required to put up a ski lift. I never knew anyone who could tell a better story than Grandpa. I learned about pioneers, about faithful converts, about indians wrestling one of my great great granddads, and about what it was like to live during WWII. I never knew anyone who was a better and more compassionate friend than Grandpa. He was quietly generous and always listened if I had a problem. I love him and will miss him every day until I see him again.
From Rick Neff:
I learned a lot of interesting history of the valley from Rodney. I always enjoyed talking with him and learning something new.
Rodney will be missed by so many.
My condolences to the family

From Jerry Thompson:
I called Jane and Rodney Mom and Dad!
See no reason not to continue. Both of them always cherished and showed concern what I was up to. I hope they will check on me often!
From Dolores Booth:
So sorry to hear of Rodney‘s passing.. As another rock of the community of Malta he will long be remembered for his strength of character, his work ethics and his giving nature. I add my condolences to his family and all who mourn his passing.

So sorry for your loss.
From Kirk Ottley:
I was saddened to read that Rodney had died, and I wish you much comfort and solace during this sad time! I have many good memories of sitting in math class as Mr. Hall did his best to help me decipher geometry. Likewise, when I worked for him drilling wells, we had some insightful and candid conversations about whatever subject happened to come up. And I appreciated the fact that on the rare occasions that we would run into each other, he always greeted me with a smile and a friendly conversation, no matter how brief. May you find comfort and happiness in your memories of Rod and the good man that he was and is!
From Jack & Laura Hill:
So sorry to hear of Rodney’s passing. May the Lord assuage your grief and leave you only the sweet memories. True friendship lasts forever and Rod was a friend. Our faith, prayers, and sympathy are with the family. We love you all.
From Gene Thompson:
My favorite teacher in school and his military and church stories made me who I am today.
