From Linda Clark Moore:
I loved Glenette! She was a big part of my childhood. I can’t even think of a time when Glenette was not in the audience giving me support at church, at school, at 4-H, she was always there. Many times she was my transportation as she chauffeured so many of us to activities. Our families were close and when the house burned down I felt the incredible loss. I spent so much time there with Marcia and Valerie.
I remember one time when Glenette and Mom took all of us kids to Elba to gather pine cones. What a job!! Whenever I buy pine nuts (they are expensive), I think what a good deal after experiencing that day.
Glenette was such a positive, loyal, fun person to know. I’m so blessed to have known and loved her!

From Margaret Clark Miller:
Glennette was always part of our village growing up. Marcia, Valerie, Randy and Tammy were our favorite playmates. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Glennette, but one I particularly think of that influenced me was a time in High School when she was Primary president and asked me to substitute in a young primary class. I was struggling when Glenette came in, took the book, and was able so naturally to teach the lesson. At the time I thought that was my goal, to be as fluent as she was in knowing the gospel, and teach so seemingly effortlessly. Her example came to mind through many years of teacihng in both school and primary.
When Mom heard of Glenette's passing she was so sad. They were close friends for 70 years. I'm glad they were able to play pinocle each week for so many years.
Glennette was an elect lady who will be so missed.
From Mike and Sherry Spencer:

I Was just thinking of my dear cousin the day she died. I just keep getting closer and closer to the title that I don’t want— oldest in the family. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with Glennette and her sisters. She certainly is leaving behind a wonderful large family which I know will miss her. I am so glad that I was able to share a pinochle game or two with her. I wish I had lived closer! My condolences goes out to her children, grand children and the great great grandchildren! Also want to send love and sympathy wishes to Vera and Donna. Treasure always those special memories that you have of times with your sister Mother and Grandmother. I hope to join you with the webcast!
Juanita

Aunt Glenette held a very special place in my heart. Growing up we spent many summers and holidays in their home. She was like a second mom to us and never treated us any different than her own. She will be deeply missed by many. Rest in Peace Aunt Glenette . Give dad and mom a hug for me.

From Darlene Wahlgren:
Glenette was more than an aunt to me, she was a friend. She married my Uncle Gerald when I was 6 and most of my memories are of her in my life. At the center of the Brackenbury family were my grandparents, George and Estella, and when my Grandma passed Glenette filled that role and she carried it well. Family gatherings will never be the same with the hole she has left in our lives. She was absolutely loyal in her love and pride of her family and we loved her in return. She always ended a conversation with, I love you. Love you too, Glenette.
