From Keri Sassman and Morgan (Kohlbaker) family :
We are so sorry to hear of this sudden loss. We are all too familiar with this feeling. Your mom was an awesome Lady… so warm and kind. She was the true definition of Hospitality. We will never forget our memories of her. When our family talks about our time in Idaho, we always bring up her biscuits and gravy.. still to this day,. The best we’ve ever had. We remember How intense she was at the family softball games and her enthusiasm for a good firework show. She was a true gem and someone you couldn’t help but love from the start .
Our hearts go out to you guys. Love you lots, and although far apart.. always in our hearts
Love your CA family
Keri, David Sr and little David

Jeff, Sabrina, Chrissy, and Jason, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your wife and mom was an amazing lady, whom we loved. She loved her family more then anything in the world. She always would light up when she talked about all of you, and believe me, she spoke about you guys all the time. You were all her legacy, and she loved you fiercely. She was a great friend to my mom. In all the years that her and my mom worked together at Wonderbread, she always treated us girls like we were her family. Her laugh was contagious, and her stories were so funny. She was full of sugar and spice. Her food was amazing, and most of all, her heart was huge. She will forever be in our hearts.
