Delores came to Declo schools when we were in the 4th grade. We were just casual friends for years. When we entered our senior years, we were both office "girls". We became close friends after that. I have many choice memories of her.

From Sharon Hatch:
Delores passing has left a deep hole in my heart.
As I remember Delores many things come to mind. Her being an older sister to a special friend of mine. Raising a kind, caring & hard working family.
Guiding me thru the ropes when I took my job as DHS secretary, where she would say, "you call me if you need anything, if I don't know it, we'll figure it out together."
After her retirement, I enjoyed the times I stopped to see her. Always amazed at the Declo history she held in her memory.
After Eddie passed she called me on occasion just to make sure I wasn't alone on holidays. Delores & Norm included me in several of their Sunday & family get togethers. I will always cherish those memories & my time with Delores & her family.
Sending comforting prayers & loving hugs to all of you. She was a very special lady.
