RUPERT – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Virgil Max Wageman of Rupert, on the evening of Monday, August 15, 2022, at the age of 70.
He was the son of Alvin Wageman and Lola Mallory Wageman. He was also a father, brother, grandfather and a friend of many. He graduated from Burley High School in 1970, and worked for Amalgamated Sugar company for nearly 40 years. He loved softball, camping, fishing and the occasional Bud Light.
Virgil is survived by his two children, Melanie Wageman and Ryan Wageman (Sarah); his brothers, Gayle Wageman (Cindy) and Bob Wageman (Linda); two grandchildren, Lola Wageman and Walker Wageman; and his step sister, Cecilia Jones. He was preceded in death by his other brother, Randy.
Go in peace father and brother; you were loved and will be missed by many.
Virgil wanted a simple graveside service which will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley at 11 a.m. Friday, August 26.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
