From Evelyn (Lung) Cordner-Holmes:
Jeanie was my best friend from the first day I moved to Bennington until the day I left. We had just reconnected 40 years later and seemed right at ease with each other. I’m saddened by the fact that we will not be able to connect physically again as I had hoped. I love you like a sister and my world now has a hole in it.
