PAUL – Jerry Lynn Grace, a 73-year-old resident of Paul, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, after recent health battles.

Jerry was born May 17, 1949, to George and Bessie Grace, in Sun Valley, Idaho. He spent some of his childhood in Hailey and the family later relocated to Burley. Following high school, Jerry went on to serve our country with distinction in Vietnam, earning two Bronze Stars and being awarded the Purple Heart for wounds he sustained. Although Vietnam was a very difficult and miserable place to be, the silver lining was the friendships and camaraderie that he formed while there.

After Vietnam, he returned home and married Pam Noble, on October 23, 1971. They went on to have three boys: Nathan, Wesley and Phillip Grace. Jerry also has three grandchildren, Shelby, Jarrett and Ashley Grace; and one great-grandchild, Grace Jensen.

Jerry attended CSI and attained a boiler/refrigeration degree and went on to work at Ore-Ida and McCains for many years until his retirement. He loved to go camping, hunting and fishing and he truly loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed watching his sons play sports and later he enjoyed watching his grandchildren do the same.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Noble Grace; his brother, Ken Grace; and his parents, George and Bessie Grace.

Dad, you will be missed. We will miss your laugh, your terrible jokes and having an ice-cold beer with you on a river or lake fishing.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 2, at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, with military rites performed by the Mini-Cassia Veterans.

A live webcast of the Funeral Service will be available and maintained at the following link: https://youtu.be/waBuPYVDj64.
