Shirley Ray and Matt Ward were two of the most beautiful people I have ever laid eyes on. I am so sorry that I didn't know Shirley better, even though I'm related to her. She and my mother, Leta, are first cousins. They lived out in View for a time and my sister, DelJeanne, would babysit for them. Dear Hal and Erma; the last time I saw and visited with your mother she was still as beautiful as ever. My love and prayers to you.
