From Marty and Tami Carter:
We love you so much and will miss you, Grandma. Especially our phone calls. We have saved and will cherish all the cards and letters you sent us over the years, especially the ones you addressed to “Master” Caleb Carter. Our special memories with you include the time we went to Jackpot to go gambling, and when you came to Alabama for Marty’s graduation from Air Force Officer Training School. A special thank you to Aunt Julie for taking such good care of Grandma for all these years, even after moving. The service was absolutely beautiful, and we are grateful to have been able to watch.
From Nena Gwin:

Aunt Vilate always showed kindness to me over all the many years. We will miss those little face-time chats that we have had the past couple of years. I can only imagine the reunion going on with those in the family who have gone before her. Our condolences to her family. We will see her again.
