BURLEY – Tammy Kay Hoskins Parton, a 43-year-old resident of Burley, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at McKay-Dee Hospital, in Ogden, Utah.

Tammy was born November 3, 1979, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Rick and Diane Hoskins. She lived in Green River until the age of three when her family moved to Pocatello, Idaho for about two years before moving to Burley, Idaho.

Tammy attended school in Burley through the 11th grade. As a child, she was very quiet; she loved to read and sing and loved animals and camping. When she was a teenager, she was interested in boys.

She married Michael Junior Parton on May 17, 1997. They later separated. Tammy spent her life loving her children. She would sing and dance with them.

Tammy worked at J.R. Simplot and was a waitress at the Wayside Café until the time of her accident. She was a good waitress and loved doing it.

She is survived by her five daughters, Destiny Diane, Jessica Kay, Justine Deann, Alexis Loray, and Jerrica Lynn.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday June 14, at Riverside Cemetery, in Heyburn.

Family and friends will be received at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 14, from 10 until 10:45 a.m., prior to the graveside service.
